It helps us create everything we dream of. After all, in order to create something (from a work of art to a company or a relationship), we first need to imagine it, to visualize it.
Why is it that when some people hear the word “dismissal”, they see a dead-end, while others see new paths and solutions ahead? Because our brain works by creating images and whether we create beautiful images or not depends on our perception. Without training, these images are created automatically and unconsciously, and they trigger corresponding feelings and actions (or inaction). With the appropriate training and the right tools, we can widen our perception and enter our unconscious mind consciously, so that at the end we are able to tell our brain what kind of images we want it to create.
In order for our brain to create images, it uses information. All this information is derived from three pools or sources: 1. First-hand experiences (what we have experienced ourselves), 2. Second-hand experiences (what we have heard/read/seen from others) and 3. Our archetypal or cellular memories. Our brain composes the information from these three information sources and creates an image for everything that happens in our lives, within ourselves or around us. If we let things to chance, without training our perception, we have no control over the images that our brain creates. We just receive them passively, taking them for granted and believing that they are absolute and true.
Going back to the example above, if someone gets fired, and in the past It took him two years to find another job -a period during which he fell behind on his loans payments and his quality of life deteriorated significantly- (first pool of information), while in the meantime, his father stayed at the same -not ideal- job until he retired, afraid that a change of career would have meant distress for his family (second pool of information), then most likely that person will believe that indeed, things for him are very bad and he must find a similar position immediately. But if if that person has expanded his perception, then it is most likely that he will consider alternative solutions in order to start working again and with even better conditions, despite his previous experiences.
So, how can we widen our perception and train our brain to create images/thoughts that we choose? By entering the unconscious mind in a conscious and safe way. That way, we expand our perception and “dictate” our brain to create beautiful images. That way, we can create beautiful things and circumstances in our lives. Besides, in order to create something, we first need to have thought of it, to have created the image in our mind. What is that way? The 3rd key of our method, the mental exercises of inspired geometry.
